believes that fireworks can be enjoyed safely when common sense
and safety are practiced.
- Always read and follow the printed label
instructions carefully.
- An adult must be present when fireworks are
used....Never give them to small children.
- Only buy from reliable fireworks resellers.
- Never hold fireworks... or point or throw at another
person.
- Use fireworks outdoors only in a clear area away from
houses and buildings.
- Never relight malfunctioning fireworks.
- Never carry fireworks in your pocket or shoot them in
metal or glass containers.
- Never drink alcohol while lighting fireworks. Have
a designated shooter.
- Light only one item at a time. Then move away quickly.
- Keep a bucket of water handy....Just in case.
- Never experiment or attempt to make your own fireworks.
- Store fireworks in a cool, dry place.
- When cool - Clean up! Dispose of fireworks
properly.
