Think Safety

Our team here at Lew's Fireworks believes that fireworks can be enjoyed safely when common sense and safety are practiced.

  1. Always read and follow the printed label instructions carefully.

  2. An adult must be present when fireworks are used....Never give them to small children.

  3. Only buy from reliable fireworks resellers.

  4. Never hold fireworks...  or point or throw at another person.

  5. Use fireworks outdoors only in a clear area away from houses and buildings.

  6. Never relight malfunctioning fireworks.

  7. Never carry fireworks in your pocket or shoot them in metal or glass containers.

  8. Never drink alcohol while lighting fireworks.  Have a designated shooter.

  9. Light only one item at a time.  Then move away quickly.

  10. Keep a bucket of water handy....Just in case.

  11. Never experiment or attempt to make your own fireworks.

  12. Store fireworks in a cool, dry place.

  13. When cool - Clean up!  Dispose of fireworks properly.
